Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade of category C allows it.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BAFA or equivalent preferred (CQP, CAP APE)
Experience: Ideally experience in a similar job, or a first experience with children.
The profile they look for:
- BAFA, BAFD, CQP Animateur périscolaire or equivalent; non-qualified profiles also considered.
- Experience in a similar job, or a first experience with children.
- Knowledge of health and safety rules for group care of minors.
- Good example, good presentation, independence and sense of organisation.
- Rigour, availability and reliability.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 18 (Closes in 47 days)
Apply on the employer's website, by email, or by post to the Human Resources department of the Ville de Thoiry. Send your application as soon as possible.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- The leisure centre is closed during the Ascension bridge, 3 weeks in summer and 2 weeks at the end of December.
