Can you apply?
Yes, if you are a U.S. citizen: this job is open to everyone.
- Open to everyoneAny U.S. citizen or national can apply. Some jobs also accept non-citizens; the announcement says so.

With experience: You need one full year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 level. Specialized experience means performing dam safety inspections, conducting engineering analyses of dams, and taking part in Part 12D Comprehensive Assessments or similar procedures used by the US Army Corps of Engineers, Bureau of Reclamation, or Tennessee Valley Authority.
With education: This job has an education requirement, so you must submit transcripts and list your degree type and major. The announcement does not name the specific degree; check the Civil Engineer (GS-0810) qualification page linked in the announcement. Schools must be accredited by a U.S. Department of Education-recognized accrediting body.
