Who we are

Kandidatu (kandidatu.com) is an independent website that helps people find federal jobs they can apply for. It is not part of the U.S. government. You can write to us at info@kandidatu.com.

What we collect

You can use Kandidatu without an account, and we do not ask for anything to search jobs. If you create an account, ask for a reminder or for the weekly email, we keep:

• your email address and, if you give it, your first name;
• the profile you choose (who you are, your education, where you want to work), the jobs you save and the emails you asked for;
• how you sign in (password, email link or Google) and when you last signed in. We never see your password: we keep only a scrambled version of it.

Like every website, our server keeps a technical log of visits (address of your device, page, time) for a few days, to keep the site secure.

Why we use it

Only to run your account and to send you the emails you asked for: sign-in links, closing-date reminders and the weekly email. We do not sell your data, we do not share it with advertisers, and we do not send you anything you did not ask for.

Sign in with Google

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google tells us your name and email address. The Google button loads only on the sign-in page.

Cookies

We use a cookie only to keep you signed in after you sign in. No advertising cookies.

Your choices

• Every email has a link to stop it, and you can change your choices in My jobs.
• You can delete your account anytime from My jobs: we delete your email, profile and saved jobs with it.
• To ask what we keep about you, write to info@kandidatu.com.

Kandidatu is not meant for people under 16.
