How the competition works

Stages:

  • Candidate registration: October 21 to November 4, 2026
  • Knowledge tests (General APF Knowledge Exam and Technical Knowledge Exam): starting November 9, 2026
  • Skills assessment: starting November 12, 2026
  • Document review, experience evaluation and merit assessment: starting November 17, 2026
  • Interview with the Selection Technical Committee: starting November 17, 2026
  • Final decision

Documents you will need:

  • Four printouts of the résumé registered in TrabajaEn
  • Birth certificate issued within the last year, naturalization letter or valid residence card
  • Valid official photo ID with signature (INE or passport; professional ID card is no longer accepted)
  • Document proving the required education level (SEP-registered degree or professional ID card, or proof of studies depending on the profile)
  • Sworn statement form (official format)
  • Document proving language level, if the position requires it
  • Documents proving each job on the résumé (service records, contracts, pay slips, IMSS or SINAVID records, severance papers, etc.), in original and copy or with digital seal
  • For winners: CURP, RFC certificate, proof of address under 3 months old and bank statement with CLABE under 3 months old

Important:

  • If you do not present any document required in the document review, you are discarded even if you passed the exams.
  • You must arrive on time; the maximum tolerance is 15 minutes and evaluations are not given outside the stated date and time.
  • Failed exam results are valid for two calendar days; passing results are valid for one year. You cannot waive a result.
  • Finalists who do not win may join the position's reserve list for one year.
