Open to civil servants and non-civil servants. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly, as the entry grade in category C allows it. Grades: adjoint technique, adjoint technique principal 1st or 2nd class.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP/BEP (level 3) in collective catering or food trades, or catering experience
The profile they look for:
- Hold at least a CAP/BEP in collective catering or food trades, or have catering experience
- Apply food hygiene and food safety rules
- Identify the nutritional needs of children
- Pass on instructions, monitor activity and report back
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full time, Monday to Friday, with 1 Wednesday off per month
- 25 days of annual leave, taken during school holidays
- Public transport or Velo'v covered at 75 %
- Meal voucher up to 153 € per month, 60 % paid by the city
