Open to territorial civil servants and contract staff. Direct hiring without a competitive exam is possible, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Rigorous and organised, with good control of cooking techniques.
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene rules.
- Recognised skills in leading and motivating a catering team.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a spirit of mutual help.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: October 31 (Closes in 2 days)
Apply on the employer's website, the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region, and attach your CV and cover letter.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Based at the main site of the school, in the centre of Roanne, with an annex site 4 km away.
- Monday to Friday hours, with one evening a week and one split-shift day.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Position vacant from 1 December 2026.
