Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The open grades are general care nurse (including hors classe) and childcare nurse (puéricultrice, including hors classe).
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: State nursing diploma in childcare (puériculture), or state nurse diploma with a university diploma in young child health, or medical specialisation in young child health
Experience: Not stated. For a nurse without a university diploma: at least three years working with young children.
The profile they look for:
- State diploma as a nurse specialised in childcare, or a doctor or nurse with specific childhood health training.
- Knowledge of hygiene and safety rules.
- Good knowledge of early childhood care regulations.
- Knowledge of child psychomotor development.
- Ability to observe, assess needs, communicate and listen.
- Ability to work in a team and report back.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
