Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. The post is open to the grades of puéricultrice and puéricultrice hors classe. A contract worker can be hired if no civil servant application has succeeded.
Category: Category A (executive)
Diploma: State diploma as puéricultrice or puériculteur, or state nursing diploma with paediatric specialisation or significant early childhood experience. Master in childcare facility management if possible.
Experience: Experienced level, with significant team management experience in early childhood care.

- Skills in management, human resources, budget and reporting.
- Ability to unite and motivate teams.
- Ability to plan, set priorities and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle unexpected problems.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Variable hours, from 7:30 to 18:30.
- Evening meetings and phone availability in emergencies.
- Phone on-call duty when a colleague is absent, and occasional cover for the director of another intercommunal centre.
- Remote work not possible.
