Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, as the grade is an entry grade of category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP cookery, BEP cookery or vocational baccalaureate in catering, or higher diploma
Experience: Experience in mass catering is wished for
The profile they look for:
- Hold a CAP cookery, BEP cookery or vocational baccalaureate in catering, or a higher diploma.
- Have HACCP training.
- Experience in mass catering is wished for.
- Master culinary and cleaning techniques.
- Strictly follow hygiene and safety rules.
- Be rigorous, autonomous and well organised.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 30 (Closes in 29 days)
Send your CV and cover letter to the president of the CCAS, by email or by post to the Ehpad du Haut-Bois.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C post.
- Remote work is not possible.
- Work on Sundays and public holidays, with an allowance.
- Post vacant from 1 January 2027.
