Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules, including HACCP.
- Good command of cooking techniques and technical sheets.
- Knowledge of common food allergens.
- Ability to coordinate and lead a team.
- Rigour, sense of organisation and ability to adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
No deadline given: the offer can be withdrawn at any time, do not wait.
Send your application only by email, to the address given in the offer. Write the job title in the email subject.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Position vacant from 4 October 2026.
- A contract worker may be hired if no civil servant applies.
- Work clothes, safety shoes, gloves, overall and hair net are provided.
- Remote work not stated in the offer.
