Civil servants and contract staff can apply. The job is open to the grades of administrative assistant, principal administrative assistant (2nd or 1st class). Direct hiring is possible, without a competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Training in executive assistance, ideally BTS level (an advantage, not required)
Experience: Confirmed experience, especially in a local authority (an advantage)
The profile they look for:
- Mastery of secretarial work and administrative writing.
- Ability to organise diaries, meetings and several requests at once.
- Knowledge of local authorities and administrative procedures.
- Knowledge of public accounting and public procurement.
- Good command of office software and electronic filing.
- Autonomy, rigour, responsiveness and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
