Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Master welcome and communication techniques.
- Judge how urgent a call or request is.
- Be good with computer tools.
- Know how the local authority is organised.
- Write clearly.
- Show autonomy and punctuality.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 10 (Closes in 8 days)
Send your CV and cover letter to the Mayor, by post or by email, before the deadline.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category C job, open without a civil service exam.
- Remote work not stated in the offer.
