Diploma: CAP AEPE or CAP Petite Enfance
Experience: Significant experience with young children. Experience in a nursery school as an ATSEM is appreciated.
The profile they look for:
- CAP AEPE or CAP Petite Enfance, and/or experience with young children.
- Knowledge of young children's needs and development.
- Team spirit, working well with teachers.
- Availability and adaptability for short-term replacements.
- Professional discretion, patience and kindness.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
