Open to civil servants, preferably by transfer, secondment or aptitude list. Contract staff can also be hired, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade with no competitive exam.
Category: Category C (staff)
The profile they look for:
- Basic cooking and plate presentation knowledge
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety rules (HACCP)
- Skills in cleaning and maintenance techniques
- Safe lifting and handling postures
- Good organisation and ability to work alone
- Good interpersonal skills and teamwork
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
