Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired, because the adjoint technique grade is an entry grade in category C.

The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of hygiene rules and cleaning techniques.
- Knowledge of safety rules for cleaning products.
- Good physical stamina and stress management.
- Ability to organise, rigour and autonomy.
- Ability to work in a team and keep professional confidentiality.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your CV and cover letter to the town hall, or apply on the employer's website named in the offer.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:

- Post open on the adjoint technique grade.
- A contract worker's contract cannot exceed one year, renewable up to 2 years in total.
