Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired directly, because the entry grade in category C allows it.

The profile they look for:
- Be rigorous and organised
- Know kitchen techniques, products and equipment
- Respect food safety, hygiene and environmental rules
- Have good people skills
- Enjoy teamwork and helping colleagues
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Hours: 6am-2:45pm and 11:30am-8:30pm, one week in three
- Staff canteen at a reduced price and a package of 25 meal vouchers per year
- Contribution to health and provident insurance, subject to conditions
