Open to civil servants (titulaires) and contract agents. A person who has not passed a civil service competition can be hired, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: CAP Agent polyvalent de restauration (general catering certificate) or equivalent
The profile they look for:
- Know the hygiene and safety rules of group catering.
- Master basic cooking techniques.
- Be able to organise your work and meet deadlines.
- Enjoy working as part of a team.
- Act professionally with pupils, as a responsible adult in the school community.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 20 (Closes in 47 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by post to the Hôtel du Département.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence (permis B) and own vehicle required.
