Civil servants (titulaires) and contract workers can apply. The required French level is independent user.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Level 4, baccalauréat
The profile they look for:
- Know the different types of disability and their needs.
- Master teaching tools and techniques for adapting materials.
- Understand how the PIAL works.
- Show patience, listening skills and empathy.
- Work in a team and communicate with the school community.
- Show initiative and adapt to unexpected situations.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Based in Mayotte, with assignment to a geographic area (PIAL).
- Possible mobility across PIAL schools (primary, collèges, lycées).
- Remote work not possible.
- The island context and distance require good preparation from the start of the job.
