Do you qualify for VN?

With experience: Your experience is judged against the Nurse I, II, and III grade levels, and your education sets which level you can reach. For example, a BSN plus 2 years of professional nursing equivalent to Nurse I, Level 3 can qualify you for Nurse II, and an MSN plus 2 years of specialized nursing experience, one part at the Nurse II level, can qualify you for Nurse III.

With education: You must be a graduate of a professional nursing school accredited by ACEN or CCNE at the time you finished. A BSN or higher degree is preferred, and an MSN is needed for the Nurse III level. Schools must be accredited by a body recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to count.
