Do you qualify for GS-5?
With experience: One year of specialized experience at the GS-5 level: scheduling medical appointments, triaging patients (sorting them by how urgent their care is), and taking vital signs in a medical treatment facility or clinic. Paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work, counts.
With education: A four-year bachelor's degree with a major in a related subject, or at least 24 semester hours in subjects directly related to the job. You can also combine education and experience. Divide your months of experience by 12, add your semester hours beyond 60 divided by 60, and the total must reach 100%. How you will be rated: Your full application package (resume, supporting documents, and questionnaire answers) is reviewed to see if you meet the qualifications. Tips for this job:
- Keep your resume to two pages or less, or it will be removed from consideration
- List hours per week for each job, since missing hours can make your application incomplete
