Prior CNA, military medic, military corpsman, or telehealth experience is preferred but not required.

With education: Four academic years above high school leading to a bachelor's degree with courses related to the occupation. You can also combine experience and education, such as six months of health care experience plus two years of college with at least six semester hours in health care courses, or an associate's degree in a health care field. Six months of health care experience plus a qualifying military health course also works. Only accredited schools recognized by the U.S. Department of Education count.
