Who can apply: The public, National Guard and reserves.
Open to U.S. citizens, nationals, and people who owe allegiance to the U.S. You must be an active member of the Texas Army National Guard in a compatible military assignment and wear the uniform; the consideration area is nationwide but limited to current Texas National Guard employees and current or eligible Texas Army National Guard members.
Experience: You need specialized experience with the mechanics, operation, and repair of complex combat, tactical, and commercial vehicles and equipment, including diagnosing, repairing, and modifying their systems and making repairs without technical guidelines. The announcement does not name a grade level for this experience, and length of time alone does not qualify you.
Education: There is not an educational requirement for this position.
Licenses and certifications:
- Valid state driver's license, required for positions that operate motor vehicles
