What you would do

  • Advise HAS leaders on health eligibility and benefit rules.
  • Review IEMM reports and fix administrative data errors.
  • Enter demographic, insurance, and income information into VistA.
  • Help families with a Veteran's death, burial, and death benefits.
  • Work with inpatient staff on patients found ineligible for VA care.

With experience: You need 1 year of specialized experience, which means past work similar to this job at the GS-05 level. Examples include patient administration, medical records, VistA registration, and knowledge of VA eligibility rules.
