This announcement may close before the listed closing date if the position is filled another way. Because it is open continuous, applicants are reviewed in the order received.

Your application, resume, C.V., and other documents will be verified, and errors or missing information may hurt your chances. Pre-employment reference checks are also used, and preference eligible veterans are given preference when candidates are approximately equal.
4 After you apply
In USAJOBS, under Applications, you can see where your application stands: received, reviewed, referred to the hiring manager or not, then selected or not. It can take a few weeks.
For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, a security clearance (Other), then the final offer with your start date.
Tips for this job:
- Upload a C.V. or resume; the two-page resume limit does not apply to this job.
- Apply early, since applications are reviewed in the order they are received.
- If you want loan repayment, plan to submit the EDRP application within four months of appointment.
