Who can apply: Internal to an agency, The public.

Experience: No extra work experience is required for the staff physician level beyond the basic requirements, which include completed residency training.
Education: A Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree, or an equivalent degree, from a school approved by VA, such as an LCME-accredited or COCA-approved school. You must also have completed residency training in an accredited core specialty program that leads to board certification eligibility.
Licenses and certifications:
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in a U.S. state, territory, Commonwealth, or the District of Columbia
- Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology
Experience can be paid or unpaid, volunteer work included: if it matches the duties, it counts. The full rules are in the announcement.

4 After you apply

For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, then the final offer with your start date.
