The job is open to the public, but you must be a U.S. citizen, a U.S. national, or someone who owes allegiance to the U.S. Applicants are considered in three rounds: first current permanent employees of the Aleda E. Graduates of foreign pharmacy programs must show FPGEC certification, which includes passing the FPGEE and TOEFL iBT exams.

Licenses and certifications:

  • Full, current, unrestricted, unexpired license to practice pharmacy in a U.S. state, territory, or the District of Columbia
  • Current registration, if your state requires it to keep your license

Experience can be paid or unpaid, volunteer work included: if it matches the duties, it counts. The full rules are in the announcement.

3 Apply on USAJOBS

Closes in 6 days (November 9, until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time).

You sign in to USAJOBS with a Login.gov account, answer the questionnaire and upload your documents, then you submit. Answer the questionnaire honestly: your resume must show what you claim.

How they rate you: You are rated on how well you meet the listed qualifications, based on your questionnaire and documents. Errors or missing information may result in an ineligible rating or a lower overall rating, and the VA may verify your experience and check references.

If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, then the final offer with your start date.
