Closes in 9 days (November 12, until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time).
The agency may close this announcement early, and qualified applications may be sent to managers at any point, so apply sooner rather than later.
You sign in to USAJOBS with a Login.gov account, answer the questionnaire and upload your documents, then you submit. Answer the questionnaire honestly: your resume must show what you claim.
How they rate you: You will be rated on how well your resume and application answers meet the listed requirements. Errors or missing information may lower your rating or make you ineligible. Some applicants who meet the minimum qualifications may be asked to complete USA Hire Competency Based Assessments.
4 After you apply
In USAJOBS, under Applications, you can see where your application stands: received, reviewed, referred to the hiring manager or not, then selected or not. It can take a few weeks.
For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, a security clearance (Other), then the final offer with your start date.
Tips for this job:
- Document your education and certifications in your resume, because the resume is the main thing used to rate you.
- If you use college to meet the requirements, send transcripts from an accredited school with your application.
- Submit your complete application package, including any required documents, by 11:59 PM EST on 11/12/2026.
