Who can apply: Federal employees - Excepted service, Internal to an agency, Federal employees - Competitive service, The public.
The job is open to the public, but you must be a U.S. citizen to apply. Current permanent VA and other federal employees may also apply, and applicants from Central Arkansas VA, then VHA, then VA Nationwide, then other federal agencies are considered in that order before everyone else.
Experience: The basic requirement says no experience is needed, but the GS-06 level for this job requires one year of experience equivalent to GS-05. Your resume must describe that experience in specific detail and show hours worked per week.
Education: A high school diploma, GED, or state or territorial proficiency certificate meets the basic education requirement. Any college or foreign education must come from a school or program recognized by the U.S. Department of Education to count.

For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
