Who can apply: Internal to an agency, The public.
You must be a U.S. citizen, national, or someone who owes allegiance to the U.S. The job is open to the public, and also to current permanent staff at the Chalmers P. Wylie Ambulatory Care Center and associated clinics, other federal employees, and current federal employees of the hiring agency.
Experience: For the GS-6 level, you need 1 year of experience equal to the GS-5 level. You must also show advanced knowledge of health care scheduling, patient flow, and medical terminology, and the ability to work with many types of clinicians.
Education: A high school diploma, GED, or proficiency certificate, or post-high school education, from accredited schools only. The announcement does not say that education cannot replace experience at this grade.
Experience can be paid or unpaid, volunteer work included: if it matches the duties, it counts. The full rules are in the announcement.

4 After you apply

For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, then the final offer with your start date.
