3 Apply on USAJOBS
Closes in 9 days (November 5, until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time).
This job will close when 75 applications are received, which may be before the closing date of 10/26/2026.
You sign in to USAJOBS with a Login.gov account, answer the questionnaire and upload your documents, then you submit. Answer the questionnaire honestly: your resume must show what you claim.
How they rate you: Applications are first checked for basic qualifications. Those who qualify are rated on knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs) through narrative answers, and may be referred to the selecting official. Experience not fully supported by your resume will be disallowed, and incomplete applications will not be considered.
4 After you apply
In USAJOBS, under Applications, you can see where your application stands: received, reviewed, referred to the hiring manager or not, then selected or not. It can take a few weeks.
For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, then the final offer with your start date.
Tips for this job:
- Make sure your resume shows employment dates, full or part-time status, and hours per week for every job, or that experience may not count.
- Start each narrative answer with the exact position title, organization, dates, hours, and series and grade, matching your resume.
- Apply early and check that all documents show in your application, since the job may close after 75 applications and uploads alone do not guarantee inclusion.
