Yes. This is an open continuous announcement with referral cut-off dates every two weeks starting November 1, 2026, so applications received after a cut-off are considered as vacancies become available.
You sign in to USAJOBS with a Login.gov account, answer the questionnaire and upload your documents, then you submit. Answer the questionnaire honestly: your resume must show what you claim.
How they rate you: You will be rated on how well you meet the listed qualifications, using the online occupational questionnaire. Your application and documents will be verified, and errors, omissions, or missing required information may lower your rating or make you ineligible.
4 After you apply
In USAJOBS, under Applications, you can see where your application stands: received, reviewed, referred to the hiring manager or not, then selected or not. It can take a few weeks.
For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, then the final offer with your start date.
Tips for this job:
- Use a long-form resume or CV that shows dates, hours, and details of any medical center management or leadership work.
- Make sure your dental degree and license details are complete, since the announcement says errors or omissions can affect consideration.
- If you claim veterans' preference, send your DD-214 and select the preference in the questionnaire.
