The work must include at least two of these tools: SQL, SAS, Stata, R, Python, Tableau, or Power BI, such as analyzing economic statistics, creating data reports, or writing and debugging code.

3 Apply on USAJOBS
Closes in 9 days (November 12, until 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time).
You sign in to USAJOBS with a Login.gov account, answer the questionnaire and upload your documents, then you submit. Answer the questionnaire honestly: your resume must show what you claim.
How they rate you: Your resume and documents will be checked to see if you meet the minimum qualifications. Under direct-hire authority, applicants who meet the minimum are referred without rating, ranking, or veterans' preference points. You must also complete an online USA Hire assessment, and overstating qualifications or cheating can get you removed.
4 After you apply
In USAJOBS, under Applications, you can see where your application stands: received, reviewed, referred to the hiring manager or not, then selected or not. It can take a few weeks.
For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, a security clearance (Other), then the final offer with your start date.
Tips for this job:
- Make sure your resume is two pages or less and lists hours worked per week for each job, or it may be marked incomplete.
- Complete the USA Hire assessment within 48 hours of the closing date, 11/12/2026, or it may count against you.
- If you use a degree or courses to qualify, attach an unofficial transcript or course list showing accredited schools and credit hours.
