Who can apply: The public.
The area of consideration is U.S. citizens and legal U.S. residents in Germany. To be eligible for NAF employment, you must be a U.S. citizen, or a citizen of a NATO country with a U.S. permanent resident card; German citizens and ordinarily resident U.S. citizens are not eligible.
Experience: You must have experience and knowledge of housekeeping gained in a military lodging program or a commercial hotel or motel. You must also show you can lead three or more custodial workers, plan work to meet time limits, and build teams. Paid and unpaid experience both count.
Education: Education cannot replace experience for this job. Education from a foreign college or university can count, but you must show proof that it is equivalent to a U.S. education.
Experience can be paid or unpaid, volunteer work included: if it matches the duties, it counts. The full rules are in the announcement.

4 After you apply

For the interview, prepare three examples with the STAR method: the Situation, the Task, what you did (Action) and the Result.
If they choose you: a tentative offer, then a background check, then the final offer with your start date.
Tips for this job:
- Make sure your resume clearly shows hotel or military lodging housekeeping work and any team leading you did, because vague entries may not count.
- Upload all documents before the closing date, and remove other people's personal information from any military orders or marriage documents.
