Be a Mexican citizen with full rights, or a foreigner whose immigration status allows the job
Not have been sentenced to prison for an intentional crime
Be able to perform the duties of public service
Not belong to the clergy or be a minister of any religion
Not be barred from public service or have any other legal impediment

2 Register on TrabajaEn

Registration: October 21 to November 4.

Register at www.trabajaen.gob.mx between October 21 and November 4, 2026. When you accept the contest conditions, the system will give you a participation folio.

To register you need your CURP and RFC, a TrabajaEn account and an up-to-date TrabajaEn CV. When you register for this job you get a folio number: keep it, you need it at every stage.

3 Exams and documents

The stages of the contest:

Resume review (registration of your resume in TrabajaEn)
General federal knowledge exam and technical knowledge exam, starting November 9, 2026
Skills assessment, starting November 12, 2026
Document review, experience assessment and merit assessment, starting November 17, 2026
Interview with the Selection Technical Committee, starting November 17, 2026
Final decision by the Committee

Minimum score: 70 puntos en una escala de 0 a 100 (puntaje mínimo de aptitud). La calificación mínima del examen técnico se indica en el perfil de cada puesto.

Look on TrabajaEn for the topics of the knowledge exam of your job, and check your messages often: that is where your exam and document-check appointments arrive.

Keep in mind:

If you are missing any document in the document review, you are removed from the contest even if you passed the exams.
The tolerance is 15 minutes. If you arrive late to a stage, you cannot enter and you are removed.
Candidates who reach 70 points but do not win go into the job's reserve list for one year.
TrabajaEn is the only official way of communication. Dates may change.

TrabajaEn welcome page (home screen) with your full name and participation folio, 4 copies Four printed copies of the resume you registered in TrabajaEn Birth certificate issued no more than one year ago, or naturalization letter or valid residence card Valid official photo ID with signature (INE or passport; the professional license no longer counts as ID) Degree registered with the SEP or professional license if the job requires a titled bachelor's degree; or an official document showing 100% of credits or a provisional permit if the job asks for a student who finished coursework Signed sworn statement (protesta de decir verdad) using the official form downloaded from gob.mx Proof of language level, if the job profile requires it Documents proving each job on your resume (contracts, service records, pay stubs, IMSS or SINAVID records, severance letters), on letterhead, stamped and signed Original and copy of all of the above for checking

4 Interview and result

The interview is with the Selection Technical Committee: prepare examples of your experience in the duties of the job. Then the committee chooses the winner. If you are a finalist and do not win, you join the candidate reserve for the job for one year.

The duties of the job:

Review documents to find opportunities in innovation public policy projects.
Support the technical and financial review of projects backed by the directorate.
Support the spread and promotion of innovation culture.
Gather information to identify opportunities for collaboration networks.
Run databases on innovation ecosystem players.
