- Not belong to the clergy or be a minister of any religion
- Not be banned from public service and have no other legal impediment
- Not have a final sentence for certain serious crimes or be declared a delinquent alimony debtor, under Article 38, section VII of the Constitution
2 Register on TrabajaEn
Registration: October 21 to November 4.

3 Exams and documents
The stages of the contest:
- Stage I: Résumé review, which is the registration period from October 21 to November 4, 2026
- Stage II: Knowledge exams and skills assessment, in person, starting November 9, 2026. Includes a technical exam, a general federal public administration knowledge exam, and a skills assessment
- Stage III: Experience and merit review (document review), in person, starting November 9, 2026
- Stage IV: Interview with the Selection Committee, starting November 9, 2026. It is held by video call
- Stage V: Final decision, starting November 9, 2026
Minimum score: Examen técnico: 80 para Dirección General, Dirección de Área y Subdirección de Área; 70 para Jefatura de Departamento y Enlace. Puntaje mínimo para ser finalista: 70, en una escala de 0 a 100

Keep in mind:
- Finalists who score 70 or more but do not win join the position's reserve list for one year from the publication of final results
- To request a review of the technical exam, ask in writing within five business days after results are published, by emailing ingreso@profepa.gob.mx
- A passing General Knowledge Exam result is valid for one year; a failing one is valid for two calendar days. You cannot waive this result
- Dates can change without notice, and you must bring original documents or certified copies to the date and place given in the TrabajaEn message

4 Interview and result
The interview is with the Selection Technical Committee: prepare examples of your experience in the duties of the job. Then the committee chooses the winner. If you are a finalist and do not win, you join the candidate reserve for the job for one year.
The duties of the job:
- Check the physical condition of facilities for preventive or corrective maintenance.
- Provide electrical, phone, locksmith, painting and plumbing services to areas that ask for them.
- Support the statistics and IT office by installing voice and data network cabling.
- Carry out other instructions from the direct supervisor.
