Legal requirements:
- Be a Mexican citizen with full rights, or a foreign national whose immigration status allows the job
- Not have been sentenced to prison for an intentional crime
- Have the aptitude to perform duties in the public administration
- Not belong to the clergy and not be a minister of any religion
- Not be disqualified from public service and have no other legal impediment
- Not have a final sentence for certain serious crimes, such as crimes against life or bodily integrity, sexual crimes, family violence, or political violence against women
- Not be declared a delinquent alimony debtor
2 Register on TrabajaEn
Registration: October 28 to November 10.
Register at www.trabajaen.gob.mx from October 28 to November 10, 2026. When you accept the bases, you will receive a participation folio, and you must follow the messages in the portal.
To register you need your CURP and RFC, a TrabajaEn account and an up-to-date TrabajaEn CV. When you register for this job you get a folio number: keep it, you need it at every stage.
3 Exams and documents

- Technical knowledge exam: starting November 13, 2026
- General knowledge exam of the federal public administration: starting November 13, 2026

- Skills assessment: starting November 13, 2026
- Interview by the Selection Technical Committee: starting November 13, 2026
- Final decision: starting November 13, 2026

Keep in mind:
- A passing technical knowledge exam result is valid for one year. Skills test results are also valid for one year and cannot be waived during that year.
- Only the three top-scoring candidates go to the interview, plus any tied for third place.
- Finalists who do not win and reach the minimum score join the reserve list of candidates for one year.
- Exam dates cannot be rescheduled. The late arrival tolerance is only ten minutes.

4 Interview and result
The interview is with the Selection Technical Committee: prepare examples of your experience in the duties of the job. Then the committee chooses the winner. If you are a finalist and do not win, you join the candidate reserve for the job for one year.
The duties of the job:
- Analyze questions about contract legal acts and issue opinions on regulatory feasibility.
- Define mechanisms to review contracts for purchases, leases and services.
- Set guidelines for registering and keeping contracts and agreements.
- Define technical-regulatory analysis mechanisms for acts with private parties.
- Issue the legal-technical opinion on the agency's contractual acts.
- Carry out other duties assigned by laws or by the immediate supervisor.
