General requirements for every competition
  • Be a Mexican citizen with full rights, or a foreign national whose immigration status allows the job
  • Not have been sentenced to prison for an intentional crime
  • Be fit to perform duties in the public administration

  • Not be barred from public service, nor have another legal impediment

What you would do

  • Build databases to process and analyze demographic information.
  • Collect demographic information generated by the areas of the General Secretariat.
  • Process demographic statistical information for studies and reports.
  • Respond to requests for database analysis from the areas.
  • Carry out other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Minimum score: A minimum of 70 points is needed on the technical knowledge exam, and an average of at least 70 with the general exam to move on. To be a finalist, at least 70 points are needed in the overall scoring system.

  • Valid official photo ID with signature (INE voter card, passport, or military service card with release sheet)
  • Birth certificate, or temporary or permanent resident card; if you are a resident, a passport and valid residence permit
  • Signed sworn statement of truthfulness
  • Released military service card (men up to age 40 only)
  • Two printed copies of your updated TrabajaEn résumé, with specific duties
  • Document proving the required education level (degree or professional license, student completion letter, certificate, or SEP validity if studied abroad)
  • Proof of experience with start and end dates, issued by the employer (for example: IMSS contribution weeks certificate, employment letters, pay slips, or SAT income certificates)
  • Documents proving merit, if applicable (for example: performance evaluation, training, awards, other studies)
