Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who is not a civil servant can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry-level category C grade.

Experience: Wanted: cleaning in a public body or collective catering
The profile they look for:
- Know cleaning methods and hygiene and safety rules
- Be able to use industrial cleaning machines
- Know food hygiene rules and HACCP standards
- Work well in a team and be punctual
- Listen well and adapt to a school setting
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
