Civil servants (titulaires) and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the job is open to grades in category C.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac+2 minimum in civil engineering, public works or VRD
Experience: Experience in a similar job desired
The profile they look for:
- Bac+2 minimum in civil engineering, public works or VRD
- Knowledge of rules for roads and networks
- Skills in project follow-up and basic public procurement
- Good writing skills and office and GIS tools
- Rigour, autonomy and a sense of public service
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 8 (Closes in 6 days)
Send the complete application by email to the address given in the offer, for the attention of the DGS. Applying on the employer's website is also possible.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Category B job, no management duties
- Water and sanitation powers transferred to the SDEA, with regular contact
- Knowledge of AutoCAD is an asset
