Territorial civil servants in the technician, senior technician (2nd or 1st class) grades, and contract staff. Contract staff may be hired while waiting for a civil servant to be recruited.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: BTS in building or DUT in civil engineering (bac+2 level)
Experience: At least 5 years of experience, a plus
The profile they look for:
- Bac+2 diploma in building (BTS) or civil engineering (DUT).
- Knowledge of hygiene, safety and accessibility rules.
- At least 5 years of experience, preferred.
- Working across teams with other technicians and outside partners.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
