The post is reserved for the technicians corps or an equivalent civil service body. It is open by secondment from another ministry, except military staff and gendarmes, who apply through the CNOI. Contract agents can also apply.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of building, general electrics and plumbing.
- Reading technical plans, sketches and manuals.
- Knowledge of safety and hygiene standards.
- Rigorous, organised and methodical.
- Analytical mind, summary skills and autonomy.
- Sense of responsibility and initiative.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Profiled post, expected posting of 3 years.
- Working hours Monday to Friday. Remote work not possible.
- No national defence secrecy clearance and no security investigation required.
- Vacant from 1 April 2027. Canteen (mess) and parking on site.
