Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A contract worker can only be hired if no civil servant has applied.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: Bac+2/3 degree in water and/or environmental protection
The profile they look for:
- Good knowledge of the water cycle and GEMAPI regulations.
- Skilled in QGIS and office software.
- Able to lead working groups and manage projects.
- Driving licence B and AIPR supervisor certificate required.
- Analytical mind, rigour and sense of responsibility.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Interviews planned between early and mid-December 2026.
- Position vacant from 1 January 2027.
- Driving licence B required.
- Field and office work, with contact with the public.
