Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can also apply, because an entry grade in category C allows direct hiring.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: CAP or BEP in a building or maintenance trade, or equivalent experience. Vocational bac accepted.
The profile they look for:
- CAP or BEP in building or maintenance, or equivalent experience
- Electrical authorisation required or to be obtained quickly
- Driving licence B required
- Knowledge of safety rules for public buildings and workplace safety
- Ability to read plans and specifications
- Rigour, autonomy and initiative
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- No remote work possible
