1 Check the conditions You are here
Open to civil servants in category B or C (transfer, secondment or aptitude list) and to contract staff. A person who has not passed a competitive exam can be hired directly.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
The profile they look for:
- Knowledge of aquatic environments, river restoration and wetlands.
- Knowledge of regulations on aquatic environments.
- Good computer skills, including GIS and QGIS.
- Good writing and summary skills.
- Good contact and teaching skills with young people.
- Driving licence (permis B) essential.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Field trips and site visits, requiring physical ability.
