Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person without a civil service competitive exam can be hired directly, because the grade is an entry grade in category C.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: Bac +2 or higher in water or sanitation
The profile they look for:
- Good people skills, teaching ability and communication sense.
- Independence, rigour, availability and integrity.
- Energy and team spirit.
- Bac +2 or higher in water or sanitation.
- Driving licence category B required.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: November 15 (Closes in 16 days)
Apply on the employer's website, or send your CV and cover letter by email to the president of the SIVOM.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Full-time schedule: 8am-12pm and 1pm-5pm, 4pm on Fridays.
- One recovery day every 15 days.
- Work clothes and a work vehicle are provided.
- Remote work is not possible.
