The profile they look for:
- Master office IT tools.
- Master Windows, Linux, and Ethernet and Wi-Fi networks.
- Know how to install and maintain PCs, smartphones and copiers.
- Analyse well, work in a team, and organise yourself.
- Communicate well and adapt.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Travel to all sites across the département.
- Takes part in the IT on-call rota (astreinte SIC).
- Job may become vacant from 1 November 2026.
- The Prefecture building will be emptied during renovation works.
