Civil servants of the technician corps (transfer, secondment) and competition winners can apply. People who are not civil servants can also apply, on a 3-year fixed-term contract.
Category: Category B (intermediate)
Diploma: DUT or BTS in building engineering (maintenance, industry, climate)
The profile they look for:
- Autonomy and negotiation skills.
- Listening skills and ability to summarise.
- General knowledge of all building trades.
- Good knowledge of technical equipment (heating, ventilation).
- Strong interest in maintenance.
- Good skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
