Civil servants and contract workers can apply. A person who has not passed a civil service exam can be hired, because the post is open to an entry-level category C grade.
Category: Category C (staff)
Diploma: BTS SIO (IT services for organisations) or DUT in computing
Experience: Proven experience in a similar role
The profile they look for:
- Proven experience in a similar role.
- Good knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Good network skills (LAN, WAN, VPN).
- BTS SIO or DUT in computing.
- Driving licence B required.
- Good listening skills, independence and discretion.
2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply

Send your application by post or by email to the town hall, for the attention of the Mayor. You can also apply on the employer's website.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Driving licence B required.
- The post can be filled by a contract worker if no civil servant applies.
