2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.

4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.
Good to know:
- Job requires a security clearance (Très secret or Secret OTAN), after a security check.
- Job tied to national sovereignty.
- No remote work. Hours 8:30 to 17:15 (16:30 on Fridays).
- Travel possible in France or abroad, on-call duty and call-outs possible at weekends and outside working hours.
