Civil servants and contract staff can apply. A person who did not pass a civil service exam can be hired directly, because the entry grade is category C.

Diploma: CAP in vehicle maintenance, or Bac Pro in the same field, or equivalent
Experience: At least one year in a similar job (experienced level)

2 Résumé and cover letter
A one- or two-page résumé and a short cover letter that takes up the duties of the offer with your examples. If you are a civil servant, you are often asked for your latest status decision (arrêté) and your latest annual review reports.
3 Apply
Deadline: December 4 (Closes in 33 days)
Apply on the employer's website, through the offer on Choisir le Service Public. Letters are addressed to the chair of the SDIS board of directors.
4 Interview and answer
If your application is shortlisted, the employer contacts you for an interview, often with two or three people. Prepare: why this job, your experience close to the duties, and your questions.

- Remote work not possible
- Driving licence category B required

- Category C post, no management duties
